Manufacture protocol The designed 70-mer oligonucleotides were custom synthesized by Invitrogen (Carlsbad, CA) on an average scale of 25 pmol/oligonucleotide. They were dissolved in 3xSSC to a concentration of 40 pmol/ul and spotted in 0.7 nl quantities, using a ChipWriter Pro (BioRad, Hercules, CA) onto Corning UltraGAPS Amino-Silane 25X75 mm Coated Slides (Fisher Scientific).
