Status Public on Sep 09, 2008
Title SWEGENE_BAC_33K_Full
Technology type spotted DNA/cDNA
Distribution non-commercial
Organism Homo sapiens
Manufacturer Swegene DNA Microarray Resource Centre
Manufacture protocol Arrays were produced using amplified genomic DNA targets from BAC clones. Target amplification was performed using degenerate oligonucleotide primed PCR and products were purified by size-exclusion filtration and verified by agarose gel electrophoresis. After purification, products were dried down, recovered in 50% DMSO to a concentration of 500-1000 ng/µl, and printed on amino-silane-coated glass slides (UltraGAPS from Corning) using a MicroGrid2 robot (BioRobotics) equipped with MicroSpot2500 pins (BioRobotics).
Support glass
Coating aminosilane

Description The 33k tiling BAC Array set contains 33,370 large-insert clones with complete genome coverage. The clone set consists of the 32k BAC clone library (GEO accession GPL4723) with additional clones located in the telomeric regions (Knight SJ et al., Am J Hum Genet 2000) and clones covering microdeletion syndromes (Vissers LE et al., Am J Hum Genet 2003).
