Title |
MicroRNA expression profile of pigeon milk exosomes |
Organism |
Columba livia |
Experiment type |
Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
In this study,we found that the highly expressed miRNAs appear to assist the biosynthesis and metabolism of PM. Notably, immune and growth-related miRNAs in PM distributed in the early stage of lactation, having the similar expression with mammals. Therefore, we hypothesized the maternally secreted miRNAs may be another factor protect the infant from infections and play developmental functions integral to the infant.

Overall design |
we investigated miRNA expression profiles from pigeon milk exosomes across five stage (1d1,1d2,1d3,5d,10d,15d,20d)by using high-throughput sequencing technology.
