Title |
Global transcriptom of 3 Atlantic cod larval stages in response to increased pCO2 compared to ambient pCO2 |
Organism |
Gadus morhua |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
We report on differences in the transcriptome of larvea of Gadus morhua at age 6,13 and 36 days post hatch after exposure to predicted end-of-centrury pCO2 levels during embryonic and larval stage. Number of DE genes increases with age. At 6 and 13 dph, 3 and 16 genes are DE, while 1314 are DE at 36dph, most likely caused by divergent development in response to increased pCO2

Overall design |
8 biological replicates for each of the 2 pCO2 treatments (ambient and high) and sampling point (6,13 and 36 dph)
