Summary |
CDCP1 and PLAGL2 have been shown to act as oncogenes in several cancer types but little is known about the molecular signalling underlying these processes in ovarian cancer cells. In this study we aim to find the downstream signalling upon their individual silencing in the human ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying CDCP1 and PLAGL2 signalling in the human ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3

Overall design |
Triplicates of the SKOV3 siControl (siLamin A), SKOV3-siCDCP1 and SKOV3- siPLAGL2 were used to carry out the microarray analysis. Human ClariomTM S assay (Affymetrix, Thermo Fisher Scientific) was used to analyze gene-level whole- transcriptome expression profiling, which accurately detects more than 20,000 well- annotated genes, with more than 200,000 probes.
