Title |
CARM1 (PRMT4) acts as a transcriptional coactivator during retinoic acid-induced embryonic stem cell differentiation |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Our data demonstrate that CARM1 is required for transcriptional activation of a subset of retinoic acid (RA) target genes in J1 murine embryonic stem cells
|
|
|
Overall design |
To address CARM1 function during RA-induced differentiation of murine embryonic stem cells (mESCs), we treated WT (wild-type), shCtl (scramble control), and CARM1 knockdown (KD) ESCs with vehicle (EtOH) or 1μM Retinoic Acid (RA) for 48hrs and performed expression profiling by RNA-seq
