Title CARM1 (PRMT4) acts as a transcriptional coactivator during retinoic acid-induced embryonic stem cell differentiation
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Our data demonstrate that CARM1 is required for transcriptional activation of a subset of retinoic acid (RA) target genes in J1 murine embryonic stem cells

Overall design To address CARM1 function during RA-induced differentiation of murine embryonic stem cells (mESCs), we treated WT (wild-type), shCtl (scramble control), and CARM1 knockdown (KD) ESCs with vehicle (EtOH) or 1μM Retinoic Acid (RA) for 48hrs and performed expression profiling by RNA-seq
