Title |
RNA expression of stretched versus unstretched primary murine sinusoidal endothelial cells. |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Primary murine sinusoidal endothelial cells were subjected to cyclic stretch and their gene expression profiles assessed by RNA-sequencing.

|
Overall design |
Primary sinusoidal endothelial cells were isolated from mouse liver and then plated on Flexcell plates coated in collagen IV. The cells were serum starved and then subjected to cyclic stretch. RNA was isolated and RNA-sequencing was done to compare changes in gene expression which occur secondary to cyclic stretch.
