Title |
Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha Regulates Skeletal Myogenesis by Inhibiting SP1 Interaction with cis-Acting Regulatory Elements within the Fbxl2 Gene Promoter |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Using NGS technology we describe the transcriptomic effecs of TNFα stimulation on skeletal myogenesis and, through gene sliencing techniques, compare the effects of TNFα with the loss of a critical cell cycle regulator, Fbxl2, on the process of myogenic proliferation and differentiation.

|
Overall design |
RNA sequencing was performed on C2C12 cells during the stage of myoblast proliferation (proliferation), at 48 h post induction of differentiation (control), in the presence of 10 ng/ml TNFα stimulation (TNF) at 48 h, and after Fbxl2 gene silencing at 48 h post induction of differentiation.
