| Overall design |
Liver mRNA profiles of TSP-1 KO and WT mice that were fed control or CDAHFD (choline deficient amino acid defined high fat diet) chow for 12 weeks. (n=5 for each group). On day 0, C57/BL6 mice or TSP1 Knockout mice (JAX stock #006141) were provided with either Control chow (Research Diets A08051501) or CDAHFD chow (Choline deficient L-amino acid-defined high fat diet; Research Diets A06071309). After 12 weeks all groups were terminated with liver tissues were collected. One section of right medial lobe of liver was taken and snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen for RNA extraction. RNA was extracted with Trizol (Thermo Fisher Scientific # 15596026) after homogenization by Omni TH tissue homogenizer.
