Summary We characterized transcriptomes of a Sinorhizobium meliloti rpoH1rpoH2 deletion mutant (RFF231; Lang et al. 2018, mSphere 3:e00454-18) expressing either Ca. Liberibacter asiaticus rpoH or Sinorhizobium meliloti rpoH1
 
Overall design Gene expression profiling of Sinorhizobium meliloti strains was performed using custom Affymetrix GeneChips. Strain RFF231 (rpoH1rpoH2 deletion), carrying either Ca. Liberibacter asiaticus rpoH (locus tag = CLIBASIA_02490, codon optimized for expression in Sinorhizobium meliloti) or Sinorhizobium meliloti rpoH1 (locus tag = SMc00646) was compared to strain RFF231, carrying the empty vector, pSRKGm (Khan et al. 2008, Appl Environ Microbiol 74:5053-5062)
