Status Public on May 13, 2019
Title Comparison of expressed pdxJ variants on global gene expression in E. coli
Platform organisms Gluconobacter oxydans; Escherichia coli; Corynebacterium glutamicum; Pseudomonas putida KT2440; Bacillus subtilis subsp. subtilis str. 168
Sample organism Escherichia coli BW25113
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary DNA microarray analyses was carried out to identify genes which are differentially expressed in E. coli when mutant variants of pdxJ are expressed that rescue growth of auxotrophic E. coli delta serB and delta serC mutants.

Overall design Cells were grown in minimal M9-glucose medium. When a culture reached an optical density of 0.5 cells were harvested by centrifugation for RNA preparation. For each comparison pdxJ(11+) / pdxJ(11-) and pdxJ(X3+)/ pdxJ(WT) two independent biological samples grown from separate cultures were used.
