Summary |
The aim of the present work was to gain insight into the mechanisms of action of potassium phosphite. To achive this, we performed microarray analysis to determine changes in gene expression of potato leaves treated with potassium phosphite for 72 hs and the abundance of KPhi primed genes after Phythophtora infestans infection. We have also analyzed in silico their promoters for common cis elements involved in their regulation.

Overall design |
Total RNA was extracted from potato leaves treated for 72 hs with Kphi, pre-treated with Kphi and challenged to Pinfestans, directly infected with P. infestans or treated with water.
