Title |
Resolution of genome-wide molecular signals in canine mammary tumor model |
Organism |
Canis lupus familiaris |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Modeling molecular changes in breast cancer with naturally occurring canine mammary tumors and cross-organism analysis enables resolution of malignancy-specific processes.
|
|
|
Overall design |
89 mammary tissue samples from 16 dogs of diverse breeds, where each dog was required to provide a minimum of one sample from each histological group: normal, pre-malignant, and malignant. Sequencing was performed using the Illumina HiSeq2000 platform.
