Title Lactic Acid as an Epigenetic Metabolite in Glioblastoma
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary We investigate the role of lactic acid in GBM cells as an epigenetic metabolite in the regulation of pro-survival gene expression.

Overall design KNS42, GBM22 and GBM43 cells were starved (0.5mM Glucose; 0.5mM Glutamate media) for 24h with or without L-lactic acid for 24h. Thereafter, cells were harvested and subjected to RNA extraction and submitted for microarray analysis.
