Title |
Lactic Acid as an Epigenetic Metabolite in Glioblastoma |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
We investigate the role of lactic acid in GBM cells as an epigenetic metabolite in the regulation of pro-survival gene expression.
|
|
|
Overall design |
KNS42, GBM22 and GBM43 cells were starved (0.5mM Glucose; 0.5mM Glutamate media) for 24h with or without L-lactic acid for 24h. Thereafter, cells were harvested and subjected to RNA extraction and submitted for microarray analysis.
