Summary |
RNA-seq analysis of gene expression changes following the depletion of P-element somatic inhibitor (Psi) or Myc via RNAi in wing discs of mid-third instar larvae, compared with control. Differential splicing analysis was also performed on the Psi RNAi dataset.

Overall design |
Expression was performed using the tubulin-GAL4 driver in the background of temperature-sensitive GAL80, restricting RNAi knockdown to 3 days prior to collection. Larval wing discs were collected in lots of 20; 60 wings were pooled for each replicate before RNA extraction and sequencing. Samples were performed in triplicate; for analysis either Psi RNAi or Myc RNAi were compared to control
