Title |
ATAC sequencing of zebrafish pancreatic beta-cells |
Organism |
Danio rerio |
Experiment type |
Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Pancreatic beta-calls are responsible for regulating the blood glucose levels via secretion of hormone insulin. To elucidate the chromatin state in zebrafish beta-cells, we performed ATAC-Sequencing.

|
Overall design |
Two replicates of beta-cells. For control, one replicate of hepatocytes was generated. ATAC-Seq was performed on 50k FACS sorted cells obtained from 3 mpf animals. For beta-cells, Tg(ins:Brainbow1.0) was used, while for hepatocytes, Tg(fabp10:dsRed, ela3l:GFP)gz12, also known as 2CLIP (2-color liver pancreas), was used.
