Overall design This study utilizes weighted gene coexpression network analysis to investigate underlying sex differences of gene networks in the primate kidney cortex transcriptome. Establishing sex differences in baboon kidneys is essential for translating understanding of its role to human physiology and disease and for development of precision medicine.
