Title ΔNp63/p73 drive metastatic colonization by controlling a regenerative epithelial stem cell program in quasi-mesenchymal cancer stem cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary p63/p73 are master transcriptional regulators of ITGB4-hi cancer stem cells and are required to maintain CSCs in a quasi-mesenchymal state and for metastatic colonization

Overall design RNA-seq of rescue experiment in ITGB4-hi cells with knockout of p63/p73 (double KO, dKO). dKO cells were engineered to ectopically express a control empty vector (EV), dNp63, TAp73, or both dNp63/TAp73 (dual). ITGB4-lo cells were engineered to express a control empty vector (EV) or dNp63. RNA-seq was performed on biolgical duplicates.
