Title |
ΔNp63/p73 drive metastatic colonization by controlling a regenerative epithelial stem cell program in quasi-mesenchymal cancer stem cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
p63/p73 are master transcriptional regulators of ITGB4-hi cancer stem cells and are required to maintain CSCs in a quasi-mesenchymal state and for metastatic colonization
|
|
|
Overall design |
single-cell RNA-seq of tdTom+ carcinoma cells isolated from the lungs of NSG mice 3 days after tail-vein injection. ITGB4-hi control (NT) or p63/p73 knockout (dKO) cells were injected into mice (n=5). Three days later lungs was dissected, dissociated, and pooled together for each group. tdTom+ carcinoma cells were isolated by flow cytometry and immediated processed for single-cell RNA-seq.
