Overall design |
Adult female Japanese quail received either saline or LPS injection. All animals were allowed to interact with males for 3 h. Half of the saline injected birds were exposed to LPS injected males and the other half to control males. A blood sample was collected from the brachial vein at the end of the 3h. Blood was spun down and plasma and red blood were separated. RNA was extracted from red blood portion.
