Title |
Identification of dysregulated transcripts in nkx2.2(RNAi) planarians. |
Organism |
Schmidtea mediterranea |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Nkx2.2 is an intestine-enriched transcription factor required for regeneration in planarians. The goal of this study was to identify differentially expressed transcripts in uninjured nkx2.2(RNAi) planarians.

|
Overall design |
Total RNA was isolated from uninjured egfp(RNAi) (control) and nkx2.2(RNAi) planarians (fed one time, three biological replicates each). Library generation (IIllumina TruSeq Stranded mRNA Prep Kit) and RNA sequencing (2x150bp paired-end, Illumina NovaSeq 6000) were conducted by the OMRF Clinical Genomics Core. Bioinformatic analysis was conducted using BBDuk, Bowtie2, and edgeR.
