Title |
Repertoires of small RNAs in Botrytis cinerea strains isolated from tomato or grapevine. |
Organism |
Botrytis cinerea |
Experiment type |
Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Sets of small RNAs from strains of Botrytis cinerea isolated from tomato or grapevine were compared to determine whether some small RNAs were specific to a population. The small RNAs were mapped to the retrotransposons identified in Sl3, Vv3 or B05.10 genomes.

Overall design |
Sixteen Botrytis cinerea strains, i.e., the referent strain B0510, seven strains isolated from tomato (T population), eight strains isolated from grapevine (five from G1 and three from G2 population) were grown in vitro. The small RNAs were extracted and sequenced.
