Title |
Role of HNF4a in bone |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
RNAseq of osteocyte and osteoblasts enriched bone fraction from the tibiae of 6 week-old male mice with a conditional deletion of Hnf4a in osteoblasts and and WT littermates.

|
Overall design |
Hnf4αflox/+ (B6.129X1(FVB)-Hnf4αtm1.1Gonz/J) and osteocalcin-Cre (B6.FVB-Tg(BGLAP-cre)1Clem/J) mice were crossed to generate Hnf4αflox/flox (WT) and Hnf4αflox/flox-Cre (Hnf4αcKO). At 6 weeks, mice were sacrificed, and tibiae were excised, epiphyses removed and bone marrow flushed. Total RNA was isolated and submitted for RNAsequencing.
