Title A Single Cell Transcriptome Atlas of The Domestic Pig
Organism Sus scrofa domesticus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary By leveraging single-cell/nuclei RNA sequencing, we generate the first single-cell transcriptome atlas of over 200,000 pig cells from 20 tissues/organs.

Overall design In this study, we report the generation of a single-cell transcriptome atlas of 222,526 cells across twenty tissues of the domestic pig by using scRNA-seq and single-nuclei RNA-sequencing (snRNAseq).

Please note that the processed data files have been replaced and 3 samples (GSM6605687-GSM6605689) added on Sep 29, 2022.
In the previous files, the mitochondria gene name in the gene matrix were with the "MT-" prefix. To be consistent with the pig Sus_scrofa11.1 genome assembly, the matrix has been updated with "MT-" prefix removed for the pig mitochondria genes.
