Title miR-4730 suppresses progression of hepatocellular carcinoma by targeting high mobility group A1 pathway
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary Expression of miR-4730 in hepatocellular carcinoma suppresses tumor progression, and might be a prognostic marker or a therapeutic target of miRNA-based therapies.

Overall design Total RNA of Li-7 and HEP-G2 cells were extracted using an miRNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen; Hamburg, GErmany). Real-time quantitative PCR (The Step One plus Real-Time PCR System; Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA) and TaqMan Gene Expression Assays (Applied Biosystems) were employed. We compared the differences in gene expression between negative control and miR-4730 mimic transfection in Li-7 and HEP-G2 cells using Microarray assay.
