Title Gene expression data for 637 human primary breast tumors with recurrence, ER/PR/HER2 status, and overall survival

Summary We performed gene set enrichment and differential expression analysis to identify biological pathways associated with locoregional recurrence in primary breast tumors.
A custom Affymetrix microarray genechip was used to assess the gene expression of each tumor sample.
 
Overall design From a prospective tissue collection protocol representing one academic and two community hospitals, we identified 637 consecutively-treated women with primary breast tumors of invasive ductal or invasive lobular histology. Profiling of RNA extracted from tumor samples was performed with Affymetrix microarrays. Clinical variables include patient age, race, staging information, receptor status, primary surgery type, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, while outcomes include time to locoregional recurrence and overall survival.
