Title Specific targeting of plasmids with Argonaute enables genome editing
Organism Escherichia coli
Experiment type Other
Summary Prokaryotic Argonaute nuclease induces DNA interference between plasmid and chromosomal DNA to promote genome recombineering

Overall design Argonaute-associated smDNA from E.coli transformed by plasmids of different constructions was analysed to elucidate the requirements for genomic DNA cleavage by CbAgo during DNA interference and integration of plasmid-encoded sequences into the homologous chromosomal locus

Second part of data on DNA interference research. Additional libraries from 2 clones were prepared to show the integration of plasmid-encoded genes into the homologous chromosomal locus promoted by bacterial Argonaut protein
