Title |
Next Generation Sequencing Facilitates Quantitative Analysis of Wild Type and ompR mutant of K. pneumoniae ATCC43816 Transcriptomes. |
Organism |
Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 43816 |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Purpose: This study aims to compare the transcriptome profiling (RNA-seq) of ompR mutant to that of WT and to evaluate the transcrptional regulation of OmpR in K. pneumoniae in exponential phase.

Overall design |
mRNA profiles of K. pneumoniae ATCC43816 wild-type (WT) and ompR knockout mutant were generated by deep sequencing, in duplicate, using Illumina Illumina NovaSeq 6000. The sequence reads that passed quality filters were analyzed at the transcript isoform level with RSEM using the Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm. TPM method is used to calculated expression level.
