Summary Since AML is hierarchically organized by self-renewing LSCs with heterogeneous sub-populations, we employed single-cell RNA sequencing to evaluate the changes in AML heterogeneity in terms of gene expression profiling, throughout the clinical course.
 
Overall design Purified CD34+ BM cells of the diagnostic, CR, and relapse phases, from identical patients, were subjected to BD Rhapsody Single-Cell Analysis System, and the expression of originally customized 435 target genes was quantified
