Status Public on Jan 15, 2023
Title Single-cell ATAC profiles of the somites and myotomes at embryonic stages E18, E21, and E28 from Tibetan pigs (ZZ) and Duroc x Tibetan pigs (DZ)
Organism Sus scrofa
Experiment type Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To investigate the upstream regulatory networks in myogenesis that lead to the establishment of the myogenic lineage and subsequent differentiation, we proformed scATAC-seq of pig somite and myotome cells from Tibetan pigs (ZZ) and DurocĂ—Tibetan pigs (DZ) at several embryonic stages (E18, E21, and E28).

Overall design Somite tissues [a mixture of embryos (n=5) from the same sow] of ZZ and DZ at E18, E21, and myotome tissues [a mixture of embryos (n=5) from the same sow] at E28 were isolated, and the tissues were digested with collagenase for single-cell RNA sequencing.
