Title Single cell analysis on the HIV-infected kidney cells
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary HIV-vpr expression was mainly detected in tubule cells after infection. By comparing the HIV-infected and wild type kidney cells on single cell level, a strong shift was observed in the PT S3 segment cell population. Transcription factor analysis revealed Trp53 playing important regulation role in HIV infected cells.

Overall design VPR;Pax8-rtTa mice were fed DOX grain-based rodent diet at 7 week of age and continued for 11 weeks induction until mice were euthanized. 3 VPR;Pax8-rtTa mice and 2 Wild type mice were sequenced.
