Title |
Contextual fear conditioning induced transcriptional changes in hippocampal CA1 neurons |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The goal of our study was to assess whether the experience can regulate specific lncRNAs within the hippocampus and their role in associative memory. To address this, we carried out unbiased analyses of gene expression in CA1-hippocampal neurons to identify lncRNA changes induced by contextual fear conditioning (CFC).

Overall design |
C57BL/6 male mice were placed in a contextual fear conditioning chamber for the following training: context+shock, shock alone, and context alone. One hour after training, brains were isolated and CA1 dissected using laser capture microdissection (LCM)
