Status Public on Nov 30, 2022
Title Samples from prospectively enrolled patients with histologically confirmed primary Head and Neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) were analyzed for miRNA profiling
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Non-coding RNA profiling by array
Summary miRNA profiling in HNSCC, including 66 paired normal, peritumor and tumor tissues from the same patients, and additional 55 unpaired tumor tissues

Overall design The study involved 121 prospectively enrolled patients with histologically confirmed primary Head and Neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), not previously treated by adjuvant therapy. 66 paired normal, peritumor and tumor samples were hybridized on “Human miRNA Microarray (V2) 8x15K” slides, containing probes for 723 human miRNAs, while 55 additional tumor samples were hybridized on “SurePrint G3 Human v16 miRNA 8x60K” slides, containing probes for 1205 human miRNAs
