Title Differential regulation of primary root growth during water-deficit stress in maize
Organism Zea mays
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Maize seedlings were subjected to water-deficit stress along with control condition for 24 hours or 48 hours and tissues emcompassing the elongation zone of primary roots were analysed for differential accumulated transcripts compared to control.

Overall design Maize seedlings were subjected to water deficit for 24 and 48 hours and primary root tips were collected in liquid nitrogen. Total RNA was isolated and mRNA profile were generated by sequencing using Illumina NextSeq 500.
