Overall design |
To generate a genetically modified pancreatic cancer mouse model, Tgfbr2flox/flox, Ptf1acre/+ and LSL-KrasG12D/+ mouse lines were intercrossed to generate Ptf1acre/+; LSL-KrasG12D/+; Tgfbr2flox/flox (KrasG12D+Tgfbr2-/-) in a > 95% C57BL/6 background. These mice developed spontaneous pancreatic cancer, as reported previously (Ijichi et al., 2006). Pancreatic cancerous tissue from a gene-modified mouse and normal pancreas tissue from a control mouse were frozen in liquid nitrogen immediately after resection and stored at −80℃. Both mice are male at 7 weeks of age.
