Title Effects of hunger on neuronal histone modifications slow aging in Drosophila
Organism Drosophila melanogaster
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To determine how dietary BCAAs modulate transcriptional networks in the brain, we designed three diets of varying BCAA concentrations (low BCAA, reference diet, and high BCAA).
We performed transcriptional profiling of brains using RNA-seq after flies had been on one of three BCAA diets for one week.

Overall design Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for brains of flies on reference diets, low BCAA, or high BCAA diets.
