Summary The effects of the SCFA crotonate on fungal and host transcriptomes were addressed, following infection of mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDMs) with Candida albicans.
 
Overall design Macrophages were challenged with Candida albicans and fungal and macrophage samples taken at 1 and 3 h following the challenge.
