Title Analysis of circRNAs expression in melanocytes and melanoma cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Non-coding RNA profiling by array
Summary Malignant melanoma (MM) is a highly malignant tumor with poor prognosis. However, the molecular mechanism of melanoma invasion and metastasis remains unclear. In the present study, we performed the profiling of circRNA expression in normal melanocytes and melanoma cells with different invasive abilities using circRNA microarray analysis.

Overall design To screen the potential circRNAs that affect melanoma invasion and metastasis. A circRNA microarray was performed to profile circRNA expression in the low-metastatic melanoma WM35 cell line and in the high-metastatic melanoma WM451 cell line in comparison to control human melanocytes.
