Cardiac injury triggered by early metabolic disease is poorly investigated due to the complexity of pathophysiology. We comprehensively reveal the cellular landscape of healthy and metabolically disturbed heart through single-nucleus RNA sequencing, using the metabolic disease-susceptible transgenic pig model as material.

We performed single-nucleus RNA sequencing on left ventricular myocardium from both triple-transgenic pig(PNPLA3I148M-GIPRdn-hIAPP) (TG) and wild-type pig (WT).
