Title |
Investigating Subpopulation Dynamics in Clonal CHO-K1 Cells with Single-Cell RNA Sequencing |
Organism |
Cricetulus griseus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
CHO cells have primarily been studied in bulk, assuming that these bulk samples are identical because of genetic clonality across the sample. In this study, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing on two clonal CHO-K1 cell populations with different stability phenotypes over a 90 day culture period.

Overall design |
Two Chinese Hamster Ovary were cultured for 30 population doublings in different culture conditions, with samples gathered before the first and final passages. Banked samples were sequenced with scRNA sequencing. --------------------------------------------- Authors state "due to company restrictions (our sample source) they do not want us to deposit the raw FASTQ (Level 1) but will allow the counts matrix to be deposited".
