Title |
Gene expression in the mouse cerebral cortex exposed to Bisphenol A (BPA) during development. |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
To screen changed gene expression, gene expression microarray analysis was performed in the cerebral cortex at the third postnatal week (P3W) of C57/B6J mice perinatally exposed to BPA (500 ug/kg body/day) .

Overall design |
For pregnant mice (n=3) in BPA group, 500 μg/kg of body weight BPA dissolved in 0.01 % ethanol was administered orally daily from E0. In control group (n=3), 0.01 % ethanol was done. From a matched set of male and female littermates at P3W from each dam, cerebral cortices were dissected. Total RNA from each tissues were prepared and analysed.
