Title Effect of cortisol on S. Typhimurium parental strain and an isogenic scsA mutant
Platform organisms Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium str. DT104; Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium str. LT2; Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Enteritidis; Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium str. SL1344; Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Gallinarum str. 287/91
Sample organism Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary S. Typhimurium 112910a parental strain and an isogenic ΔscsA strain were grown to stationary phase in SPI2 inducing minimal medium (MM5.8 - Erikkson et al., 2006 Inf & Imm., 74:1243) with or without supplementation with 1µM cortisol

Overall design 4 samples (stat phase wt, stat phase wt + 1µM cortisol, stat phase ΔscsA, stat phase ΔscsA + 1µM cortisol) and 3 biological replicates for each sample.
