Title Differentially expressed genes in Naa10p knockout mouse embryos
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Mammalian Naa10p, encoded by NAA10, is the only known enzyme capable of catalyzing both N-α-acetylation of nascent proteins in cytosol and ε-acetylation of internal lysines of proteins. Both enzyme-dependent and -independent functions of Naa10p are associated with cancer and some genetic diseases with developmental defects. To examine the function of Naa10p in development, we generated Naa10-KO mice by deleting exons 2 to 6 of Naa10 gene, which encode all putative isoforms of Naa10p. RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis of 2 WT and 2 Naa10p-KO embryos from the same litter was performed.

Overall design mRNA profiles of 2 Naa10-KO and 2 littermate WT embryos were generated by deep sequencing, using Illumina HiSeq 2000.
