Title miRNA expression profiles of early lactation and early involution in dairy goat mammary gland tissues
Organism Capra hircus
Experiment type Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has revolutionized systems-based analysis of miRNA expression files. The goals of this study are to obtain the miRNA expression files in dairy goat mammary gland at early lactation (10th day after parturition) and early involution (5th day after forced weaning at late lactation, 218 day after parturition).

Overall design RNA were extracted respectively from five dairy goats in early lactation and early involution using TRIzol reagent and were equivalent mixed into a pool from the same stage. miRNA profiles of eary lacation and early involution in dairy goat mammary gland tissues were generated by deep sequencing using Illumina/Solex seqing technology.
