Title |
Expression data from MCAO or Sham operated rat blood [miRNA] |
Platform organism |
synthetic construct |
Sample organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Experiment type |
Non-coding RNA profiling by array
|
Summary |
In the search for stroke biomarkers, miRNAs are gaining attention. To investigate novel miRNAs that work as stroke biomarkers, we used Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion model of rats. By using microarray analysis and comparing with Sham operated rats, we extracted the miRNAs whose expressions are alterated by stroke.

Overall design |
6 Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion (MCAO) or Sham operation (n=3), and the miRNA expression in the blood was compared between the two grosup.
