Title |
sRNA population in HT and AB D. melanogaster |
Organism |
Drosophila melanogaster |
Experiment type |
Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The aim was to profile the small RNA population in females. We observed that a very abundant rRNA fragment was present in the AB sample, but not in the HT sample.
|
|
|
Overall design |
Females were dissected into head/thorax and abdomen and RNA extracted from both tissues. For each sample, the experiment was repeated and the flies were pooled before RNA extraction.
