Treatment protocol |
Prior to RNA extraction confluent cultures were serum-deprived for 42 hours (media changed at 18 hours) in 0.1% bovine serum albumin.

Primary fibroblasts were cultured from lung biopsies as previously described (Abraham, D.J., et al. J.Biol.Chem 2000;275:15220-25).

Following fragmentation, 10 ug of cRNA were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on Homo sapiens U133A1. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.
