Purified CD8 T-cell subsets were either directly used for RNA extraction or activated anti-CD3/CD28-conjugated magnetic beads in 3:1 bead/T-cell ratio and then cultured with IL-7 and IL-15 (5 ng/ml) for 15 days.

Data processing |
RMA of .CEL files using affy Bioconductor library. In RMA, PM values have been background adjusted, normalized using quantile normalization, and log2 expression measure calculated using median polish summarization. Probes were summarized using the revised entrez-based probe annotation of Dai (Dai 2005, the package hgu133plus2hsentrezgcdf.db, version 13)
