Organism |
Daphnia magna |
Characteristics |
chemical: Chromium age: 14 days exposure time: 24h dose: 0.054 mg/L
|
Treatment protocol |
Twenty daphnids (Two-week old) were exposed to 1 L of COMBO medium containing 1/10 LC50 concentration of each chemical with four replicates
|
Growth protocol |
D. Magna were obtained from Aquatic Research Organisms (Hampton, NH) and cultured at 20C in modified COMBO medium. Culturing medium was renewed three times a week, and Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata (formerly Selenastrum capricornutu) and YCT added for food.
