Total RNA was extracted using the TRIzol Reagent method according to the manufacturer’s protocol (Invitrogen) and quantified using Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies). Total RNA from normal human osteoblasts was retrieved as described previously (Sadikovic B, Yoshimoto M, Chilton-MacNeill S, et al. Identification of interactive networks of gene expression associated with osteosarcoma oncogenesis by integrated molecular profiling. Hum Mol Genet 2009;18:1962-75).
